Every day in kindergarten I study and play

Kindergarten – the first community of children. Educational role of kindergarten. Kindergarten as a place for learning through creativity. Healthy eating and hygiene standards. The family-kindergarten relationship.

These are just a few of the topics on which parents from underprivileged communities enrich their knowledge through information sessions on the benefits of regular kindergarten attendance, developed by the Foundation “Trust for a Social Achievement” (TSA). The info sessions are part of the Small Grants program “Every Day in Kindergarten I Learn and Play.” It is an initiative of the Network for early childhood development in the Roma community in Bulgaria – (REYN Bulgaria), which is coordinated by the TSA for the third year, and is implemented with the support of the UBS Optimus Fund.

Training for participants in the REYN 2022 internship program

The participants in the internship program “Role models in early childhood”, as well as their teachers – directors of kindergartens, and their supporting coordinators from non-governmental organizations, participated in the training in the city of Sofia on May 19-20, 2022 on the topic “Essence of mentoring’. The training supports trainees and their mentors to gain knowledge about the nature of the mentoring process, its integrity and the effect on the professional development of young people.

Two-day seminars for students and teachers on the project “The influence of role models on the development of the Roma community in Bulgaria”

The project “The influence of role models on the development of the Roma community in Bulgaria” is part of the initiative of the US State Department – IVLP Impact Awards, which aims to provide additional opportunities for sharing experience and knowledge to contribute to overcoming challenges and the difficulties local communities face on a daily basis.

“Early Childhood Role Models” Kindergarten student internship program

Nature of the internship program

The current internship program is an initiative of the Network for early childhood development in the Roma community REYN Bulgaria, coordinated by the Foundation “Trust for a Social Achievement” (TSA). The program aims to provide an opportunity for Roma students from various majors to gain practical skills for working in kindergartens working with vulnerable communities.

Competition for small projects of the Network for early childhood development in the Roma community – REYN Bulgaria

The Foundation “Trust for Social Achievement” (TSA) invites non-profit organizations for public benefit to express their interest in implementing information meetings for parents from the Roma community in order to familiarize them with the importance of regular kindergarten attendance for children’s future educational achievements and in order to support the building of a relationship of trust between parents, teachers and educators, as well as educational mediators.
