ACTIVITY REPORT ROMANI EARLY YEARS NETWORK BULGARIA 2020

1. MISSION AND GOALS OF THE NETWORK

The Romani Early Years Network Bulgaria (the REYN Network) was established in January 2018 and is coordinated by “Trust for Social Achievement” Foundation. The REYN Network aims to support professionals working with children from minority communities, in order to increase the scope and quality of the provided services, and in this way unite efforts to advocate for its members. Online event of Romani Early Years Network Bulgaria – REYN Bulgaria – “Can you hear me”. How to work effectively with children, who do not speak Bulgarian fluently?

On 12th of March 2021 Romani Early Years Network Bulgaria – REYN Bulgaria organized an online event on working with children, who do not speak Bulgarian fluently. REYN Network event – “Introduction to viral diseases in children and their treatment”

On 24th February 2021 REYN Bulgaria organized the first regional event of the year, which focused on informing the REYN Network on viral diseases in children and the possibilities for treatment. Dr. Irena Vidinova, who is a healthcare specialist with long-standing experience and practice in the sphere of healthcare, as well as a deputy director of the Regional Healthcare Inspectorate in the city of Vratsa, was the moderator of the event. Online seminar “How to write success stories”

On 17 February 2021, REYN organized an online seminar on the topic “How to write success stories”. Participants of TSA’s “Young Roma Teachers” program, as well as participants in the “Role Models at an Early Age” initiative, part of REYN Bulgaria, took part in the seminar.
