Photos can serve as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a means of <strong>observation and reflection,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>visual <strong>documentation of learning processes,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>a <strong>communication<\/strong> channel with parents,<\/li>\n<li>a tool for <strong>inclusion<\/strong> and increasing the visibility of child development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>\ud83e\udde0 <\/strong><strong>Critical thinking through the lens<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Nora Gavazova<\/strong> spoke about how photography can serve as <strong>a tool to make children&#8217;s learning visible<\/strong> \u2013 both to educators and parents. Inspired by the <strong>Reggio Emilia<\/strong> philosophy, she presented approaches in which photographs document not just the result, but<strong> the process of thinking, exploring and interacting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Photography in this context:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>facilitates pedagogical observation,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>assists in <strong>analyzing the interests and development of the child,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>engages parents by giving them a <strong>window into the daily life of children in kindergarten,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>encourages <strong>children&#8217;s reflection<\/strong> when they talk about what has been photographed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>\u2696\ufe0f<\/strong><strong>Photography and the law<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Alexander Kashamov<\/strong>, executive director of the Access to Information Program, presented the<strong> main legal aspects<\/strong> related to photography in an educational environment.
