Volunteering and activism for the benefit of the community


On 15th April 2021, an online workshop was organized on the topic “Volunteering and activism for the benefit of the community”, which was attended by over 30 participants from the “Young Roma Teachers” project and scholars of the “Active Citizens Fund”

During the event, the conceptual framework, and the need to create small projects for the benefit of the local community were discussed. Good examples of already implemented projects of some of the “Active Citizens Fund” scholars were also highlighted.

A presentation was given on the drafting of projects, as well as the importance of their implementation for personal and professional development and creating a good example in the Roma community. The participants from the projects shared their own ideas for creating small projects that could be realized in the future.
