Today, on 8 April, we celebrate International Roma Day – a day to express our respect for Roma culture, history and contribution to society. It is also a day to reflect on the challenges Roma communities face and the opportunities we can create together.
Roma have a long and significant history, full of traditions, music, arts and customs that enrich our world. But unfortunately, they continue to face prejudice and discrimination that limit their opportunities for an equal start in life.
Let today be a reminder of the importance of solidarity and inclusion. Together we can work towards a fairer society where everyone, regardless of their background, has a chance to succeed.
Today, we at TSA and REYN Bulgaria continue not only to provide the support we need, but also to fight to build a sustainable foundation for a more just and inclusive society where everyone, regardless of background, has a chance to succeed.
Let us remember that the true strength of society lies in diversity and in the opportunity for every person to be heard and respected.
