Understanding history and culture is the key to better communication, trust, and genuine support. Only then can we be truly positive role models.
That is why on March 17, we held an online training session with students from the “Teacher in My Community” program, interns from the REYN Bulgaria Network internship program, and educational mediators.
Together, we delved into the topic “History of the Roma Community: Roma Communities and Their Specific Characteristics” and spoke openly about important issues such as the role of Roma women, the different groups within the community, and the challenges they face.
The training was led by Teodora Krumova, Program Director of the Amalipe Center.
